I started posting on tis blog because theres very little information on fusion surgery in Dubai. And, particularly about the MIS TLIF procedure. Who does it? What is it? What is lumbar fusion? What does MIS stand for? Who are these Korean surgeons? So many questions...
Throughout the many posts and pages on this blog, I have tried to either answer some of these questions myself, or have done my best to aggregate the best possible ways of answering the questions.
Many of the questions are born out of fear. It is basically the fear of the unknown. I have tasted that fear, I have fuelled that fear by googling. I have fought that fear with faith and family. Which is why I am sharing my pain, my fear, my questions and some of the answers here. To dispel the myth, to shed the light, to show possibility.
The problem with Dubai is information – rather, the lack of it.
